We Leave Somers Cove Marina

We left Somers Cove Marina around 9 o’clock. We are planning to go over to Tangier Island which is very much the same as Smith Island, but decided since the weather was so beautiful we should take advantage of it and cross the bay that day. The real reason for bypassing Tangier is because Hurricane Mathew is brewing down south and we don’t want to get trapped on a small island in the Bay. We headed over to the Potomac River, And pulled into our Anchorage for the evening at Smith Creek at the Smith Creek 3 anchorage.  Nice wide open space, quiet with a very nice breeze.  John worked on the report for our insurance company of every thing that had been stolen.
