St. Michael’s
Thursday, July 28
Dinghied over to St. Michael’s. Went shopping and had lunch at Ava’s pizza. This is a fountain in Ava’s courtyard.
Interesting stores and storefronts in downtown St. Michael’s. This is a nice town. Some people say that it is a must see when traveling on the Chesapeake. It was cute and we may have to visit it again sometime.
The boys went to the Maritime Museum in St. Michael’s. Very nice museum.
Got back to our boats and cruised over around 12 miles to Cambridge. Just before we enter the Cambridge City a hard storm hit us. It rained really hard and we had a white out for a little bit. We stayed outside of the town until the storm subsided and then we went in and tied up to the city dock just before a second and stronger storm hit us. Tom and Colletta helped tie up AGAIN. They have been our saviors in getting us tied up to docks.
