Our Last full Day In Montreal

Saturday, July 15
That morning we got up and rode our bikes and visited the under ground mall.  We stopped at one part of the underground tunnel and saw a piece of the Berlin wall that had been donated to Canada. Then we took our bikes to Saint Catherine Street and found a huge mall under the city.  Because it gets so cold up here they have built a tunnel that leads from one part of the city to another part of the city so people can get around without having to freeze. Coletta, Tom, John and I just roamed around and looked at all the vendors selling their wares up-and-down Saint Catherine Street. That evening John and I walked up to 192 steps to the top of the clock that we face from our marina. We picked up a pizza from downtown Saint Jean Street, and brought it back to the boat.
John getting my birthday present. He had gone to the underground mall and purchased some more beautiful charms  to go on my Pandora bracelet.  One charm a boat of a gondola since this boat was named Gondola before we got it, a Canada charm, and a lock trinket that makes it so nothing falls off of the bracelet.  Thank you John I love them.

John was on a mission to surprise Pam. Any idea how difficult that is when you are together 24 hours a day on a boat?

The wall behind Pam is a actual part of the Berlin wall.

We didn’t get a chance to sample the Boozipop.

This was part of a street festival…

The clock in the background had a laser projection system pointed at it at night. Way Cool!

The last day we decided to go over to the clock and walk the 192 steps to the top.

One view from the top of the clock.
That evening, we say the most spectacular fireworks display that any of us has ever seen. The Video does not do it justice as it was taken very late in the show…
