Havre De Grace
Tuesday, August 9
Left the mooring ball and went over and pumped out at the fuel dock at around 11 AM.
Headed over to Havre De Grace up the Susquehanna River. Got to Havre de Grace at around 2 o’clock. We decided use another mooring ball again right outside of Tidewater marina. There were no pennants on the morning balls. Tom and Colletta set their boat first by slipping a long rope that they had tied to the middle of the boat into the mooring from their swim platform. They then brought the line to the front to their boat and tied it off there. It took both of them to do this. After they had their first line on, Tom got into the dinghy and helped put the second line through the mooring ball.

Then he went over to our mooring ball as we slid over and I handed him our lines to put through the mooring ball. It was quite an adventure. We dropped our dinghy in the water and we went into the marina. They had a courtesy car that we borrowed. Drove around the town ate lunch at the MacGregor Tavern and went to Walmart around 8 miles away from us. It is so nice that they are letting us use a courtesy card even though we only paid $35 for a ball.
We visited a great antique store that also had a beer can museum.
