We officially Leave Rockford To Start Our Adventure

December 3rd.
Left Don and Katherine’s condo and headed to Pam’s sister Pat’s house in Frankfort. Don and Kathryn came over to say goodbye and see us off. It has been hard saying goodbye to a lot of our friends even though we know we have a great adventure ahead of us.

John drove the big white van and pulled the dinghy behind. I drove the Odyssey van. It was nice to have a couple of days just to relax at Pat’s instead of keeping up with the whirlwind schedule that we have had for the past three months. We enjoyed being with Pat and Tom and not having anything to do with the schedule.

Went out for dinner with John’s family on Friday night December 4th. Next time we see Ryan and Ali they will be parents. We are so excited for them and will miss not seeing family and celebrating important occasions with them.
