WELL we are FINALLY RESTARTING OUR LOOP ADVENTURE.  We left Brewerton Boatyard at 8:00 AM after saying goodbye and getting hugs from Wayne and Toni.
We cruised through 7 locks and tied up to the wall at Oswego by 2:30.  The wind picked up as we went through the last 3 locks and we had to really work at holding lines and keeping the boat close to the lock wall.  We cruised through the locks with Greek’s Folly and 3 other boats.  We finally stopped for the day and tied up to the wall.
That early evening we walked into town and went to the farmers market.  We met Steve and Diane Koch from Aurora, a 49 ft. DeFever and John from a 44 DeFever called Sea Grace.  Paul from Finistere was riding on Sea Grace. We went out for dinner and drinks at the Waterfront cafe.  It was nice to compare DeFever boat tales.
As we tried to start the generator we discovered that our AGM battery was dead. We had tested it before we left Brewerton and it was fine. We were able jump start the generator from another battery bank. John will swap out the battery from the dinghy until we can buy another AGM battery.
