Mike and Sandy enjoyed the sun and relaxation on the back deck

We traveled 40 miles running against the current and got to Shady Harbor Marina around 2:00.  The marina was having a customer appreciation pig roast.  They provided the meat and the drinks and boaters provided a dish to pass.

There were about 10 other looper boats there plus the people that store their boats there in the summer.  Today is Sandy’s birthday and yesterday was Bruce’s.  That afternoon I went over to Follow that Dream and Jan and I made 14 3-2-1 little cakes.  These are individual cakes that you microwave.

Around 6:30 we met up at the picnic tables and had a wine tasting and a birthday celebration.  Bruce and Bev make their own wine and when they went back to Iowa, they brought back a few cases of their wine.  They brought about 7 different kinds of wine for everyone to taste.  It was a fun evening.

The next morning, Mike, Sandy and John and I went out  for breakfast at a local diner.  After breakfast Mike and Sandy took off for Niagara Falls.  It was great to have them visit us. We miss not spending time with them and are so happy that they stay connected to us wherever we are.  For the next 2 days everyone worked on boat project and we went out to dinner at the Boathouse Grill with around 22 other loopers.  Phyllis from Corkscrew arranged it.
