First Anchorage this Spring
Left loggerhead about 9:30 AM saying goodbye to our Tennessee friends. The weather was warm and the wind slowed down a little bit. We cruised for about 64 miles to an anchorage that we had stayed at before. It’s called the NASA viewing Anchorage. We were disappointed that we missed a rocket launch by one night. It was nice to see the dolphins back again jumping up and following our wake. We got to the Anchorage about 5:30 PM. It’s always fun to have that first Anchorage beer on the back deck. While we were traveling John put up our new fender holders on the front deck. It will be nice to have the deck organized and not have to trip over all the vendors that we have just lying around the deck. One thing I love about this anchorage is the beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We spend a very peaceful and warm night out together.
