More Boat Repairs

Stuart Yachts ended up putting the boat  in the water around 1:30 PM. It was nice to be back on our boat.  Besides working on buffing out some of the problems on the outside of the boat, Eric and Walter along with some of the other guys had to drop the rudders, pull the Cutlass bearings out, and replace them and the packings. It ended up being a bigger job than they thought it would be. That night John pulled out of the old shifting cable and put in a new one on the star board side at the upper helm. He worked from 3:30 until around 8:15 that night.  The boy has not stopped working this winter.  This should help make the boat shift much easier than it did when we came over from Turkey Creek.
