Slaughter Creek Marina

This was the 13 year old boy who was the junior champion driver in the Waterman’s Rodeo.

We left Slaughter Creek Marina around 8:30 AM.  We have around 68 miles to go today.  After a slow start winding out of Slaughter creek and a pretty smooth ride, we got into the Anchorage inside of Crisfield around 3:40 PM.     We put our dinghy down and went for a ride around Crisfield. This town claims to be the Crab Capital of the world.  We saw several buildings where they storing and prepping soft shell crabs.  We docked the dinghy and walked around the town by the city dock and then stopped for ice cream.  This town has seen better days.  Three sets of tall condominiums don’t seem to be very occupied. John and I are coming back in the end of September for a rendezvous here.  The anchorage was very nice with lots of space to anchor and you can see all around Crisfield from here.
