East River

Thursday, July 7 only seven more days before my birthday!

InSpeyered decided to take off and go to a different Anchorage than us for the night. Short Vacation and Greek’s Folly decided to do a little exploration of Mobjack Bay on our big boats.  We traveled up the North River to see the Elmington Manor.  Beautiful home designed much like Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello home.

 

We then went up the East River and anchored at Hicks Wharf for the evening.  It was so hot that we took a dinghy ride to try and cool off.  Sure wish that we could go into the water, but there are jellyfish everywhere and we don’t feel like getting stung.
