Brunswick Landing Marina

Our friend Pam and I drove her car and our van up to Savannah to Isle of Hope Marina. This is where we will be heading to on Thursday.  We wanted to be off the water for Memorial Day weekend and figure that Savannah would be a great place to visit during this time.  John helped Art on his boat and helped him load up some charts on his computer. I am lucky that I have John to keep our navigational charts up-to-date and as most of you know him, we have all the top-notch electronics available.

This is Art and Pam’s boat. Still hard to believe that they actually built this boat themselves from the hull up and everything inside.

Brunswick Landing Marina has free beer everyday from 8am until 12 am. They have beer and wine parties on Monday Wednesday and Friday evening from five until 7 PM.  Below during one of their get gatherings people brought instruments.  We missed this one because we left in the morning. Our friends Art and Pam sent us this pic.

 

Since they had free laundry here, I decided to take advantage of this instead of doing laundry on the boat.  They have brand-new washers that were great. Met some interesting people at the happy hour.  Afterwords we went over to Foxy’s for pizza.
